Aquasense ApS

Sales Engineer at Aquasense

Aquasense is looking for a Sales Engineer

Are you technically sound, do you thrive in customer contact and are you passionate about creating value through consultative sales? Then the role of Sales Engineer at Aquasense could be for you.

On behalf of Aquasense, we are looking for someone who can help ensure Aquasens’ continued growth.

Aquasense is a specialized supplier of measuring instruments for monitoring and analyzing water quality and flow – everything from drinking water systems and wastewater plants to lakes, streams and groundwater wells. With a focus on precision, reliability and technical advice, they help their customers ensure both environmental protection and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the job

As a Sales Engineer at Aquasense, you will be a key player in their continued development. You will be involved in close customer relationships and provide technically qualified advice – often as the one who understands complex challenges and puts together solutions that fit the customer’s needs precisely.

Some of your tasks will be:

  • Sales and needs assessment in dialogue with customers and partners.
  • Preparation of offers and composition of solutions – often in collaboration with specialists.
  • Project follow-up and maintenance of customer relationships.
  • Outreach sales work and identification of new business opportunities
  • Representation of Aquasense at fairs, conferences and in relevant networks
  • Answering inquiries that come in through various channels

In short, you will be a key person and one of the driving forces in realizing the growth potential that Aquasense has only just scratched the surface of – in a market where there is still a lot of low-hanging fruit.

About you

You are technically sound, commercially minded and thrive in a role where you both advise, develop solutions and drive sales processes from start to finish. You are a good listener, ask the right questions and manage to translate technical needs into value-creating solutions.

We imagine that you have:

  • A technical background – e.g. as an engineer, machinist or technician with relevant professional experience
  • Experience with sales of technical equipment
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment, sensors and monitoring systems would be a clear advantage
  • Good communication skills – both in Danish and English
  • A structured and independent work mindset

Since Aquasense works with water and liquids in many forms, it is an advantage if you have a basic understanding of this element and its behavior and differences. You will primarily work from your home address, with regular visits to the office in Vejle.
