Non-contact flow measurement LaserFlow – performs up to 15 unique velocity measurements
Non-contact flow measurement LaserFlow from Teledyne ISCO distributes the measurements over the entire cross-section in:
- Sewers
- Canals
- Streams
- Watercourses
With laser light, the device shoots below the water surface to a depth of 30 cm. With movable mirrors, the measurement point can be varied to 5 different horizontal points and three different depths. This achieves up to 15 different measurement points distributed throughout the water flow.
ISCO’s laser flow design therefore makes it possible to measure accurate flow in difficult applications such as:
- Streams
- Watercourses
- Open channels
- Places with turbulence
Since the measurement is non-contact, problems with sediment, branches, vegetation and other foreign objects that previously prevented good measurements are eliminated.

Laserflow is also available for harsh environments and Atex zones.
