Description
Transit-Time Flowmeter – The TTFM 6.1 from Pulsar is ideal for treated drinking water, streams, cooling water, chemicals, hydraulic oil, low conductivity water, water/glycol solutions and diesel and fuel oils. The device works by measuring the time-of-flight difference between ultrasonic sound pulses transmitted from one transducer to another. The time between transmitted and received signals is measured by the flowmeter. Mount the Transit-Time flowmeter’s ultrasonic transducers to the outside of the pipe and use the 5-button keypad to enter the pipe material, outside diameter, wall thickness and fluid type. The TTFM 6.1 displays the correct transducer separation distance and mounting method.
The easy choice
With just three transducer sizes that work on all common pipe materials, plus the ability to have it customized for your application, the TTFM 6.1 is the easiest way to specify flow in your next flow application.
Easy to Use and Maintain
With interchangeable clamp-on transducers, standard mounting hardware and a quick setup menu, the Transit-Time Flowmeter is quick to install and downtime-free. Perfect for both retrofitting existing and new systems or installations. With no moving parts, little to no maintenance is required, and with solid-state measurement components, there is no performance drift over time, ensuring accuracy and peace of mind.
