Sludge Finder2 – Ultrasonic
The Sludge Finder2 from Pulsar PM is used in thousands of applications worldwide to detect sludge levels in primary, secondary and tertiary settling tanks. Whether with stationary or moving bridges, clarifiers, gravity thickeners or sequencing batch reactor (SBR) systems.
The two-part system includes a custom-built, self-cleaning Viper Transducer that uses sonar technology, immersed in the liquid and detects the echoes from the material. Any change in density is reflected back to the transducer – the time it takes for the echo to return is transmitted to the controller and the distance to the interface is calculated.
The Sludge Finder 2 offers a variety of options depending on application requirements. Including single or dual sensor inputs, installation accessories, communication outputs and the PC Software Suite which offers the Sludge Finder 2 software. The software can be used to record and store all parameters from your sludge level measurement applications.
