SDI-12 Pulse analog interface TBS02PA For connecting rain gauge, wind speed or wind indicator device
The SDI-12 Pulse analog interface TBS02PA from Tekbox is an SDI-12 interface card for connecting a rain gauge, an anemometer and a wind vane. In addition, it provides 3 general analog inputs with a range of 0-1V, 0-2.5V, 0-5V and a 4… 20mA current input. The ADC provides a resolution of 12 bits. Pulse count inputs are supported by a real-time circuit, buffered with a supercapacitor. It is able to keep time for more than 6 months after the last measurement. The interface card supports both passive and active anemometers with pulse outputs. The 12V supply lines for connected sensors are only switched on during measurement to minimize power consumption.
The TBS02PA is available in two housing variants. One variant comes in a shelf IP67 housing from Fibox. The second variant comes in a DIN rail housing.
The device is a versatile SDI-12 interface box suitable for connecting rain gauges and anemometers with pulse output, wind vanes with analog or potentiometer output and analog sensors with voltage or current output.
To expand the range of applications, the TBSPA02 includes a latching relay that can be connected to an internal temperature sensor to switch heating to the wind vane / anemometer, or which can be used to control irrigation.
The relays can be connected to a built-in RTC timer. The RTC is also used to calculate accumulated rainfall.
