Description

The Aquaread Water Quality Probe (AP-2000) is an advanced portable multi-parameter water monitoring probe. This robust instrument is built with hard anodized marine-grade aluminum, making it suitable for use in both fresh and saltwater systems.

With the AP-2000, you get a wide range of standard parameters, including optical DO, specific EC, absolute EC, pH, ORP, TDS, resistivity, salinity, SSG and temperature. The probe can be used with a variety of cable lengths, with standard lengths available in 3, 10, 20 and 30 meters.

The multi-parameter probe has been developed with a focus on being adaptable to any situation. You can easily add more sensors to the probe via the two AUX inputs. The probes are mounted with threads and AUX connectors. One is a small ISE input and the other is for a larger optical electrode. These inputs allow you to add additional sensors depending on your requirements. There is a wide range of sensors available such as ammonium, nitrate, turbidity and chlorophyll to name a few.

The AP-2000-D model includes a depth sensor capable of measuring water levels with an accuracy of 0.5%FS. This sensor allows the AP-2000-D to detect small changes in water level and display them as a positive or negative change.

The advanced optical DO sensor principle, Dynamic Luminescence Quenching, is also a cornerstone of the equipment. This system offers several advantages over the galvanic method of measuring dissolved oxygen. The sensor does not require a flow of liquid passing over it to obtain a stable reading. Other advantages include long operating stability, i.e. infrequent calibrations (every 3-6 months).

Overall, the AP-2000 is a versatile and reliable solution for water monitoring. Its robust construction and customization options make it an ideal choice for both water monitoring professionals and enthusiasts who want accurate and in-depth data on water quality. The multi-parameter probe’s comprehensive features and durability make it a valuable tool for anyone who needs reliable and accurate water quality data.
