The Marine Wind Tracker 06206 from RM Young has special features for use on board ships.
Wind speed is displayed in your choice of units: KNOTS, MPH, KM/H, M/S. Maximum wind speed is also displayed. Wind direction information is clearly displayed on a circular LED light pattern. Bold graphics on the front panel provide a quick indication of the wind angle relative to the vessel’s heading. Brightness control allows adjustment for the best view in any light. Illuminated markings on the front panel allow viewing even in a dark cockpit. 4-20 mA inputs, serial NMEA and voltage outputs are standard on the unit. Alarms for both wind speed and wind direction are included. The Marine Wind Tracker is very compact for easy mounting on vertical bulkheads or consoles. Model 06260 Protective enclosure provides additional protection for wet or dusty environments.
