Liquid level actuator for sampler 1640 – Take samples based on liquid level
The Teledyne ISCO 1640 Liquid Level Actuator for Sampler offers a simple and reliable way to cause a sampler to initiate a sampling routine when the liquid level reaches a predetermined height.
The 1640 includes a conductivity probe that mounts above the liquid flow, a control box that mounts on the sampler, and a connection cable.
It can be used in conjunction with other instruments. For example, a rain gauge or a flow meter. Use it to start sampling under various conditions. With the control switch set to LATCH, the 1640 will activate the sampler when the liquid level reaches the probe, and the sampler will remain active when the liquid level drops again.
In TOGGLE/RESET mode, the 1640 only activates the sampler while the liquid is touching the probe, and sampling is stopped if the liquid level drops below that.
