Level and temperature gauge 201 with the largest temperature range on the market
The Solinst 201 Level and Temperature Gauge has the widest temperature range on the market, from -25ºC to 125ºC. The 201 model is ideal for measuring static water levels and for measuring temperatures in wells, boreholes, tanks and open channels.
The device delivers precise temperature measurements and clearly displays the measurements on the LCD screen mounted on the front panel.
The temperature sensor is located on the stainless steel tip of the probe, but since the probe body acts as a heat sink, the best accuracy is achieved when the probe is fully submerged. The design of the tape seal plug allows for the probe to be replaced.
Water level and probe depth measurements are read from the durable laser-marked flat tape. Tape lengths are available up to 600 m.
The probe is made of 316 stainless steel, which makes the probe robust. It is pressure tested and can be submerged to a depth of 300 meters. The zero measuring point is located close to the tip of the probe, to keep water displacement to a minimum. The sensor tip is protected by a probe sleeve.
Water temperature has a direct impact on the biological activity of aquatic plants and animals, as well as on many aspects of water quality and chemistry, and is therefore an important parameter to monitor.
