Flowswitch Captor 412x.1x for liquid media
The Captor 412x.1x flowswitch from Captor-Weber sensor is precisely adapted to automatic processes and other industrial applications where liquid media are to be monitored. The sensor operates according to the calorimetric measuring principle, is fully electronic and has no mechanical moving parts.
The device detects the flow rate of the medium and converts it into an electrical signal.
The sensor head is constructed from a single piece of electropolished stainless steel, to prevent any sensor element from entering the medium. The flowswitch is available with different sensor heads, the standard is 1/2″ BSP, but is also available in a 1/4″ BSP.
Installation is easy and is carried out using a T-piece or a welded fitting.
For aggressive media, other materials adapted to the media in question can be supplied.
The housing is constructed from glass fiber reinforced PBTP. The electronics inside the device are completely encapsulated in epoxy resin.
The display itself is designed with an LED chain that shows the flow spectrum, a setpoint, range from 0.2 – 3 m/s and a flashing LED that shows the output status.
