The Flowmeter Fluvia RC3, from AquaData, is a portable, electromagnetic water flowmeter that measures the velocity of water to determine the flow.
The ease of use is top notch. The interface is designed as simple as possible, allowing the user to make velocity measurements quickly and efficiently. The device’s IP67 rating and robust construction mean that Fluvia can be used in harsh environments. The added feature of the waterproof encoder makes it easy to navigate, even with gloves on.
Its hydrodynamic shape and small probe size allow measurements close to the liquid surface and the channel bed or pipeline wall. With no moving parts, it does not collect dirt, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
Another feature of Fluvia is the ability to profile rivers. If depth data is entered by the user, the device is able to generate a calculated river flow profile. This allows for a more detailed analysis of the river.
Fluvia allows the user to not only transfer data to a computer, but also analyze it on the go. The device is able to store collected data, which can then be reviewed on site.
Areas of application include: rivers and streams, irrigation canals, water channels, sanitary pipes and open channels.
