Flowmeter FloStick RC4 – all in one
The Flowmeter FloStick RC4 water velocity meter, from AquaData, is a portable unit that can be used as a stand-alone unit. It includes a velocity probe, wading rod and display housing, all in a single integrated package.
The device uses the Faraday principles of electromagnetic induction, as well as advanced analog and digital electronics, to offer an accurate, robust and economical measurement of water velocity and data for later analysis.
The enormous advantages of this Faraday method compared to rotating element, ultrasonic or Doppler methods are well established. This single integrated instrument offers a unique and practical tool for fast, easy and accurate measurements, without installation, configuration or calibration.
Simply remove the device from its carrying case and it is ready for use in seconds!
The device consists of a high visibility polyamide housing, sealed to IP66, and has a graphic LCD display. It can be easily used to take measurements with one hand.
The interface is simplified and text can be displayed as icons or in a wide range of languages.
There is a built-in data logger for 2000 data points, with time stamp and an additional 14,000 can be added by upgrading.
