Functions include data to FTP server and/or event messages to email or SMS. With a very low power consumption, the device is ideal for battery supply, possibly supplemented with solar cells or a wind turbine.
Versatile Measurement
Connect a variety of sensors through the versatile analog and digital channels, with high-speed counter inputs, phase input inputs and programmable serial sensor channels.
Temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, serial and calculated measurements can all be scaled, logged and returned in engineering units or within statistical reporting.
Set up sampling, logging, alarming and control tasks to suit your own needs. Interfaces to smart sensors, GPS and other intelligent devices extend the DT82EM’s flexibility.

More sophisticated systems can use the automatic data delivery features to send logged data to an FTP server. Alarm conditions can also trigger data delivery in addition to sending alarm notifications to multiple email addresses or mobile phones.
Easy to configure
The DT82EM is configured directly in your web browser using dataTaker’s graphical dEX interface. dEX guides you through the configuration of your logger and shows you wiring diagrams, allowing you to decide – in as much or as little detail – how you want your system to work, suitable for both novice and advanced users. Using the internal modem, you can even reconfigure your system remotely via the internet if necessary.
