Description

Double valve pump 408 consists of two concentric tubes, each with its own valve system.

The Solinst 408 Double Valve Pump is a pneumatic drive pump that provides consistent, high-quality samples. It has been proven in thousands of applications.

It offers excellent performance and reliability. No bladder replacement is required and the dual valve pump provides higher pumping speeds than the Solinst bladder pump. There is a choice of sizes and materials, variable flow rates and it is field serviceable.

The DVP is suitable for low flow or regular flow sampling. The stainless steel pumps can operate to depths of 150 m (500 ft).

Easy decontamination
Everything is easily accessible or replaceable without tools. All components can be cleaned with mild detergent or non-phosphate soap.

Survives dry pumping, dirty air and sand
Pumps are not damaged when operating in sediment-laden water or under dry pumping conditions.

Saves time and costs
Low-flow sampling reduces purge volumes and the time it takes to obtain a sample. There is less need for repeat sampling, reducing the time required for each sampling round.

Part of the Simple System
The air compressor or tank, pump controller and flow cell are easily transported to each site with the DVP. Compression fittings, quick-connect and push-fit connections allow for simple attachment to manhole covers or portable wheels.
