dB and dBi Transducers from Pulsar are a range of loop-powered, intelligent, non-contact ultrasonic level measurement transducers. Programming is possible via HART modem. The high IP 68 protection class makes them suitable for applications where they may be at risk of being flooded. As well as in applications with 100% humidity, such as pump wells and closed tanks. With the pre-programmed library of typical tank shapes or with a 16-point curve fitting, they can be programmed to output a volume signal. The ultrasonic level meters have a spread of less than 6 °. With adaptive self-learning function, it can be used in applications where there are many false echoes from pumps, ladders, pipes, etc.
The user is no longer forced to choose between high-current frequency-dependent transducers that are sensitive to electrical energy and low-current transducers that perform well in hazardous areas but poorly in the simplest applications.
