The RM Young Ultrasonic 81000 Anemometer is a 3-axis, non-moving, part-wave sensor. It is ideal for applications requiring fast response, high resolution, and three-dimensional wind measurement.

The sensor features durable corrosion-resistant construction with 3 opposing pairs of ultrasonic transducers supported by stainless steel elements. Each 81000 is individually wind tunnel calibrated. Wind and sound temperature data are available on four voltage output channels. Serial RS-232 and RS-485 outputs are also available. The sensor installs on standard 1 inch pipe.

The 81000V Ultrasonic Anemometer is a 3-axis, non-moving part sensor with four synchronized voltage input channels and serial output.

The sensor features durable corrosion-resistant construction with 3 opposing pairs of ultrasonic transducers supported by stainless steel elements. Each 81000V is individually wind tunnel calibrated. Wind and sound temperature are transmitted serially via RS-232 and RS-485. Signals from up to 4 additional voltage units can also be included in the serial string. The sensor installs on standard 1 inch pipe.

The 81000RE / 81000VRE Ultrasonic Anemometer are 3-axis, non-moving wind sensors. They are ideal for applications requiring fast response, high resolution, and three-dimensional wind measurement.

Both models have an extended mast that separates the transducer array from the instrument housing. Each sensor is individually wind tunnel calibrated. Wind and sound temperature data are available on four voltage output channels (Model 81000RE). Serial RS-232 and RS-485 are also available. The sensor installs on standard 1 inch pipe.
